As a global business we have seen significant increase in our shipping and packaging costs during 2021 and into the early part of 2022 . Historically we have we worked hard to avoid passing on such increases to our customers.
However our costs have continued to increase driven by global factors such as:
- The impact Covid-19 has had on freight capacity and shipment prioritisation
- Global shortages of packaging materials such as cardboard, dry ice and plastics
- Increased regulatory requirements such as Vet and import certification
- Increasing fuel costs
Despite our actions to mitigate these increases, it is with regret that we have taken the decision to amend our shipping and packing charges to reflect these increased costs.
As a result, any new orders received or quotations requested from 14th March 2022 will be subject to these new charges,
Any purchase orders already submitted to BBI will be honoured at the previous charges.
