Molar Concentration of Gold Nanoparticles (Colloid)

Our specialist nanoparticles range in size from 2nm to 250nm, ensuring that you will always have the highest quality of components you need, regardless of the size or nature of your study.

The table below provides technical data on all sizes of gold colloid, including the number of particles per ml, mass of 1 particle, mass of gold per ml, moles of gold per litre, surface area per particle and surface area per 1ml of product.

As these particles form the basis of all BBI’s EM grade and BA grade conjugates, the same information can be applied to these products, which include – anti-human, anti-species, biotin, streptavidin and control line conjugates.

Note that figures provided relate to OD1 products, therefore the OD of conjugate needs to be considered in any further calculations.
